What Is Hypnotherapy, Really?
Hypnosis isn't strange or mystical — it's a natural state you already go into all the time.
It's that feeling when you're completely absorbed in a film and the rest of the world disappears. When you're driving and arrive somewhere without remembering the journey. When you're so focused on something that time stops. That's hypnosis. It's being in flow — and it's completely safe, completely natural, and completely within your control.
In a session, that state is deepened intentionally. Your body is relaxed, your eyes are closed, and your mind becomes more open — not to suggestion from the outside, but to understanding from within.
Here's why it works:
Something happened → you felt an emotion → you formed a belief → that belief created a thought → that thought shaped a behavior.
An event made you feel powerless, or unseen, or not enough. That feeling became a belief — I'm not good enough, I'll never change, this is just who I am. That belief became a thought pattern. That thought pattern became the thing you're struggling with today.
Talk therapy works at the level of the thought. Hypnotherapy goes all the way back to the feeling — the root. And when the feeling shifts, the belief shifts. When the belief shifts, the thought shifts. When the thought shifts, the behavior changes — naturally, without force.
We cannot change what happened. But we can change the way we feel about it. And that changes everything.
How It Works
Our first session begins with a conversation — we go over your intake form and talk through what's brought you here. Then we move right into the hypnotherapy.
Eyes closed, I will get you nice and relaxed. At a certain point, I'll say: "We're going to the cause, the reason, the root of the issue" — and you'll be able to tell me. We go from there.
Sessions run 2-3 hours. Most clients are surprised by how quickly we get to the heart of things.
About Bianca
I know what it's like to be stuck in something you can't think your way out of.
For sixteen years, I smoked. I understood every reason to stop. I tried. I just couldn't shift it — until six sessions of hypnotherapy changed everything.
It wasn't willpower. It wasn't insight. It was accessing the part of my mind where the pattern actually lived — the subconscious. And when that shifted, it shifted completely.
That experience changed the direction of my life.
I went deep into training — an intensive, immersive program in Albuquerque, depth work rooted in Jungian psychology, and study with some of the most respected practitioners in the field. But what I've learned over eleven years of practice is that my clients don't come to me for my credentials. They come because they've tried everything else — and nothing has gone deep enough.
Talk therapy is genuinely valuable and has its place. But some things live below the level of language. Some patterns don't shift through conversation alone, no matter how skilled the therapist or how willing the client.
Hypnotherapy reaches those places.
If you're curious whether it might be right for you, I'd love to talk. We'll start with a conversation — a chance for you to share what's going on, ask questions, and get a real sense of what working together might look like.
