Fertility and Hypnotherapy
If you're trying to get pregnant, you already know how much is being asked of you. The appointments, the protocols, the hope and the heartbreak that can come in the same week. You're doing everything right. And it's still not happening.
I know that place. I lived there for years.
Multiple doctors told me pregnancy wasn't going to happen for me. I paid four of them for that opinion. I didn't believe a single one. I kept going, I did everything I could, and today I have two healthy children. I share this not just as a hypnotherapist in Los Angeles, but as someone who has sat in that waiting room. What I know now, and what I want you to know, is that there is more to this than medicine and anatomy. The mind is part of the equation. And that changes everything.
When the body won't do what the mind wants
When someone is medically cleared to conceive, but pregnancy isn't happening, there is often something operating below the level of conscious awareness. Not a flaw. Not a failure. A belief.
It might be grief from a previous loss. Guilt from an earlier choice. A fear so quiet you've never said it out loud, about motherhood, about your relationship, about whether you're ready, whether you're enough. The subconscious mind is extraordinarily powerful. When it holds a conflicting belief, the body listens.
Hypnotherapy works at exactly that level. We find what's there. We shift it. And we give the body new information to work with.
How it works alongside your fertility journey
Hypnotherapy isn't a replacement for your medical care. It's a complement to it, something you can weave into whatever path you're on, whether that's trying naturally, working with acupuncture, going through IUI, or navigating IVF.
Through our virtual sessions and personalized recordings, we work to clear subconscious beliefs that may be creating resistance to pregnancy, support your nervous system through the stress of fertility treatments, and help your body receive the message that it is ready, that it is capable, that a healthy pregnancy is possible. This is trauma-informed, body-aware work that honors everything you're already carrying.
This works whether you're at the beginning of your journey or deep in the middle of it.
Pregnancy is often more than science. If you're curious whether the subconscious mind could be part of your path, I'd love to connect.
